What color veil on my silk dress?

I make a deposit into my wedding dress, I'm so excited! I love the veil is a veil yolk finger and it is only in white or ivory, there is no option of white diamonds. My dress is white silk, so color is white. What the veil color should I choose? I would definitely go with the ivory. No matter whether the veil is a touch darker than the dress, but if you go with white, the dress will only look dirty in comparison.
